Mr. S. Lawrence Prendergast has served as a Trustee on the Turrell Fund Board since 1989, and as Chairman since 2000. 

Mr. Prendergast joined LaBranche & Co. Inc., a New York Stock Exchange specialist firm, as Executive Vice President of Finance after a thirty-year career at AT&T Corp. Larry retired from AT&T Corp in 1999, as Chairman and CEO of AT&T Investment Management Corp., responsible for the investment and administration of $35 billion in funded employee plan assets for AT&T Corp. In addition, Mr. Prendergast held numerous positions at AT&T Corp., including Vice President and Treasurer. 

Mr. Prendergast served on various Boards, including Cincinnati Incorporated, Aftermarket Technologies Corp. Larry is an active member of Financial Executives International, having served as Chairman of the Financial Executive Research Foundation. He is also on the advisory boards of several investment funds, including JPMorgan, and is a past Board Member of three NYSE listed companies: AT&T Capital Corporation, LaBranche & Co. and Lucent Technologies, Inc. 

Larry is the author of the book Uncommon Profits Through Stock Purchase Warrants published by Dow-Jones Irwin in 1973 and holds an MBA from New York University.
